Intuitive Eating Myth #10: You won’t have to think about food anymore.

When you’ve struggled with food – what to eat, what not to eat, when to eat, how much to eat – it’s not difficult to understand why you might seek out something that would let you stop thinking about food.

But this is not the point of Intuitive Eating. Everyone has to think about food sometimes. It’s the quality and quantity of that thought that matters. What IS the point is that your thinking about food will not feel as distressing.
